Abdullah Fekry is a native Arabic speaker and a dedicated Qur’an tutor with extensive experience in teaching both Arabic speakers and non-Arabic speakers. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Tour Guide Department, at Helwan University. He has an upper-intermediate level of English and fair knowledge of French and Korean.

He later pursued his academic interest in education by joining Ain Shams University, Faculty of Education, Special Needs Department (2014–2021), where he completed three diplomas and studied toward a Master’s degree focusing on Autism. His educational background equipped him with strong skills in understanding different learning styles, especially for students with special needs.

Abdullah memorized the entire Holy Qur’an at Ibn Al-Jazary Institute for Qur’an Studies. He holds multiple Ijazahs, including:

  • Ijazah in Hafs ‘an ‘Asim from three different tutors.

  • Ijazah in Ibn ‘Amer Al-Shamy.

  • Ijazah in Abu ‘Amr Al-Basri.

  • Currently working on Ijazah in Warsh ‘an Nafi’.

He studied classical Tajweed texts such as Tohfat Al-Atfal and Al-Jazariyyah, as well as the rules of Al-Shatibiyyah by Imam Al-Shatibi. His studies also include Arabic grammar, rhetoric, history of the Mushaf, Arabic dictation, and related Qur’anic sciences. He additionally completed an online foundational course in Islamic sciences.

Professionally, Abdullah has worked in several educational institutions:

  • Tafaoul Academy for Special Needs Children (2016–2018).

  • Academic Supervisor (Volunteer) at Modern Child Academy (2017–2021).

  • Dar Al Fatiha for the Holy Qur’an and Islamic Studies (2019–2020), teaching Egyptian and international students.

  • Private teacher for special needs children using Qur’anic storytelling as a therapeutic and educational method.

  • Qur’an tutor (face-to-face) for Egyptians with 7 years of experience.

  • Joined Buruj Academy (since June 2022), teaching non-Arabic speakers, mainly from the USA.

He is currently studying a program at Al-Azhar University designed for teachers of non-Arabic speakers.

With the blessings of Allah, his total teaching experience exceeds 4,500 hours dedicated to serving the Holy Qur’an. His methodology combines strong Tajweed foundations, structured curriculum, patience, and the ability to adapt lessons to children, adults, and special needs students. He focuses on clarity, precision in recitation, and building a deep spiritual connection with the Qur’an.
